			Press release: Author: Met Office. Wed 29 Jul 2026 A new maximum temperature record for June for the second consecutive day, with 36.7°C reached at Merryfield, Somerset. Sounds like it is getting hotter ? No, they put in a new station in 2021, so it's only the hottest at Merryfield over the last 5 years. This is the latest Met Office scam. Put in new weather stations at localised hot spots (they can choose them from satellite pictures). Then claim that temperatures are going up. It keeps the funds flowing for their COP parties. Similarly, Author: Met Office. Wed 29 Jul 2026 A new UK and England June daily temperature record of 38°C has been verified by the Met Office. They put in a new station in 2009. We have 150 year old stations, USE THEM to SEE TEMPERATURES NOT HOTTER ! The temperatures historically have not gone up !

	Nuclear energy produces power for AUD 6.8c / kWh providing an economical price plus ZERO CO2 pollution. Solar and Wind require backup plant to provide power when the sun does not shine and the wind does not blow. The only real and low CO2 backups are batteries, however they make the renewables prohibitively expensive.
